Mr David MacAlpine has been appointed to the position of General Manager of B&R Ex Systems. David is a qualified Electrical Engineer with over 36 years of hazardous area market experience and leads a team of highly qualified staff based at Riverwood Sydney.
B&R Ex Systems offers a range of IEC Ex certified electrical equipment for hazardous areas including Lighting, Stainless Steel Ex and Cast Aluminium Ex d Enclosures, Cable Glands and Control equipment.
The range of products on offer include solutions for a variety of hazardous applications, including Metalliferous Mining, Oil and Gas infrastructure, Automotive Refuelling Stations, Chemical Processing Plants, Printing Industries and Cement works.
B&R Ex Systems is an Australian owned and operated business offering the local market customised products and value add services including provision for gland entries, component fit out, windows, and the complete wired solution. The manufacturing facility is being fully accredited to ISO9001 and certified under IEC Ex QAR MP87.
Utilising the manufacturing and distribution capabilities of B&R Enclosures as well as the highly skilled team based at Riverwood provides a high level of service and short turnaround times even on highly specified projects.
The introduction of the Ex Systems range of products compliments B&R's existing range of mining, industrial and infrastructure enclosures.
