This data logger combines computing power, storage capacity, and versatile communication interfaces in a compact enclosure. Together with Sunny Portal, SMA's free internet server portal, the Sunny WebBox provides all plant data for storage, display and comparison in easy-to-read charts and graphs.
For data transfer to and from the Sunny Boy inverters, the Sunny WebBox supports communication via RS232 or RS485.
Around the clock, around the globe
Any PC or laptop equipped with an internet browser is all you need to access the WebBox to check the status of your PV plant - from your home, office or even from your vacation spot. The Sunny WebBox is equipped with a configured web server, which allows you to view the output of your plant or the measuring channels of your inverters. Also, set the parameters of the Sunny WebBox, for example during initial installation, using this integrated web server. Use the Sunny WebBox together with Sunny Portal to store, display and compare your system's data.
This user-friendly website lets you create charts and graphs of daily, monthly and yearly data. By automatically comparing the performance data over long periods of time, you get valuable information about, for example, seasonal power fluctuations or, you can even detect component failures and counteract them before they occur. Internet data transfer and plant configuration is possible either via Ethernet or telephone modem. Data transfer is automatic, all you have to do is set the desired intervals.
