Vinyl Chip Flooring The
Poly-Tech Vinyl Chip Flooring combines a fast curing resin adhesive
with highly decorative flake chips and clear hard wearing seal coats to
produce an attractive floor finish for commercial, residential and
light industrial flooring where maintenance needs to be minimised that
is durable and easy to keep clean. Where hygiene is priority, the
seamless finish as the added benefit of removing the risk of bacteria
being caught in any joints of the flooring.
The
system allows speedy application and fast cure on concrete and other
substrates and will accept foot and heavier traffic after only 7 hours.
This makes the system ideal for overnight or weekend work where
disruption to normal working and traffic flow must be minimised or
avoided.
A repair, levelling and resurfacing screed or mortar is first applied
to fill any open pores in the surface, repair major or minor blemishes
and smooth the surface. Resin is then applied to the prepared and dried
surface followed by the vinyl flakes, coated to allow intimate chemical
bonding to the resin and to the subsequently applied seal coat. Finally
two coats of fast curing clear seal coat are applied to provide the
final surface.
Vinyl
Chip Flooring can be applied to most floor and wall surfaces,
bench-tops, timber, asbestos, gypsums, and counter top areas for
decorative, long-lasting, easy-to-clean surfacing in homes, commercial
and industrial premises. A level surface that it is smooth, firm,
clean, oil and dust free is all that is required. Irregular and
undulating surfaces can be levelled using standard methods.
